Book Drop.jpg

The Book Drop program brings highly-acclaimed authors to economically disadvantaged and diverse Title 1 schools across the United States. The authors donate a powerful and motivating assembly that helps students of all ages and backgrounds fall in love with books and reading.
Book Drop then donates one copy of the author’s book to each student in the school.

A VITAL WORK

How we select our Book Drop schools:

60%+ of the students qualify for free school lunch.

High English learner population.

Critically low state test scores for reading.

Testimonials

To whom it may concern,
Guadalupe School was absolutely thrilled to participate in a Book Drop. What a wonderful opportunity it was for our students to not only receive a book to take home, but to hear from two best-selling authors. We couldn't be more happy.
Thank you for giving Guadalupe School students the gift of reading.

Becky Yourkstetter
Development Director, Guadalupe School
